What Legacy Loop is

Legacy Loop is a registry hub. You add links to your existing registries (Amazon, Target, Babylist, etc.), payment methods (Venmo, PayPal, 529 plans), and group gift goals. Family visits one page and gives directly through those services.

We don't process payments, hold funds, or fulfill orders. We're the directory, not the store.

Your account

You need a valid email address to create a page. One page per email. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the content you add to your page.

Don't use Legacy Loop for anything illegal, harmful, or deceptive. Don't impersonate other families or create pages for people who haven't asked you to.

AI assistant usage

Legacy Loop can be accessed through AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) via our MCP server. When you create or manage a registry through an AI assistant, the same terms apply. Email verification is required to publish any page, regardless of how it was created.

The AI assistant acts on your behalf. You're responsible for reviewing the registry page it creates and the information it submits.

Group gifts (Chip In)

Group gift pledges are informal commitments. Contributors pledge an amount, and the page owner marks contributions as verified when they receive them. Legacy Loop doesn't guarantee collection or enforce pledges.

Payment happens outside Legacy Loop, through whatever method the page owner specifies (Venmo, PayPal, etc.).

Free and paid tiers

The free tier includes up to 5 links per page. Loop+ ($6.99/month) gives you unlimited links and additional features. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time.

We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers keep their rate until their next billing cycle after the change.

Affiliate links

We may add affiliate tags to certain outbound links (like Amazon Associates). This doesn't cost you or your family anything extra. It helps us keep the free tier running.

Content and links

You own the content you add to your page. By adding it, you give us permission to display it publicly on your registry page and in search results.

We can remove content that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful, fraudulent, or infringing.

Availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee it. Legacy Loop is provided "as is." We're not liable for downtime, data loss, missed gifts, or any damages arising from use of the service.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes get 30 days notice via email. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms.
