Legacy Loop
We built this for us. Now we're sharing it with you.
Hi we're Kath and Jon, parents to two toddlers (two years apart). We definitely didn't see ourselves being registry parents, but it seemed to be “the thing” most people did to make life a bit easier.
Yet we still found ourselves frantic trying to respond to all the well intentioned questions: “What do they want? What size are they now? Can you send me that link again?”
And to be clear it's definitely an “it's not you, it's me” type of problem. As parents, your to-do list seemingly never ends. Our digital life was scattered all over the place.
Registry lists across different websites. Kath constantly texting Jon for the 529 info. Unsure what items to add because we were trying to Marie Kondo our life (and our humble abode was running out of space).
We thought: There has to be a better way. One link. One place. Done. So we built it.
How this started

We know how lucky we are to even have relatives asking how they can help. Reflecting on gifts is a privilege, and we're grateful to be surrounded by a village who loves spoiling the kids.
But it also sent us down the millennial-parent rabbit hole: experiences vs. physical gifts vs. letting family buy what makes them happy vs. what actually fits our life.
If our loved ones were asking, there had to be a better system to help everyone involved.
Why “Legacy Loop”?
When your village contributes to a child's growth, they're sharing a piece of their legacy. Every music lesson, museum membership, or college savings gift plants seeds for the future.
The “loop” represents how these connections strengthen over time. Each contribution, update, and thank-you deepens the bond between your child and those who support them. These relationships compound and grow exponentially, creating a cycle of generosity and gratitude that spreads positivity across generations.
It's not just about what they give today. It's about building a foundation of support that grows with your child and teaching them to pay it forward when it's their turn.
What Legacy Loop does
One shareable page for each of your kids. Inside, everyone who loves them can find:
- •What they actually need (classes, experiences, savings goals)
- •Wishlists for physical stuff that matters
- •Step-by-step instructions for contributing to their future (529s, savings)
- •Group gifts for higher-ticket items or experiences (to relieve the burden on parents and gifters)
We track who gave what. Send automatic thank-yous. Make 529 contributions simple for grandparents who want to help but don't know how.
One less thing for you on that to-do list.
Why this matters
Because raising kids is expensive and overwhelming and isolating, all at once.
Because you have people in your life who want to show up for your children, but the logistics are exhausting for everyone.
Because you deserve to not feel like an unpaid administrative assistant.
So your village can gift things and experiences that feel like them and leave a real legacy for your kids.
What it feels like now
Parents using Legacy Loop tell us they:
- •Enjoy the simplicity of sending one link for both gifting and life updates
- •Actually see and remember who gave what
- •Can show their kids the value of experiences over things
- •Feel more connected to gifters
- •Have a burden off their shoulders by automating part of the gifting experience
One mom put it this way: “I finally don't feel awkward asking for what my son really needs. Like I'm building a real, valuable future alongside my village.”
That's what we're here for.
We're not parenting gurus or finance experts. We're just parents who got tired of juggling chaos and decided there had to be a simpler way.
If you're feeling the same, we built this for you.
